I am John Dickson, and I program laser shows for a living.

I started the JD3 brand in 2012 and it became JD3 Lasers LLC in 2018. The company does two things: freelance show programming and JD3 ZoneTools.

I built ZoneTools because creating the zone file for a stadium rig directly in BEYOND took a full day before I could start programming the show itself. I would bill a full day rate just to get it built. Now it takes about ten minutes. Enough other programmers asked me for it that I am selling it.

JD3 Lasers LLC sells two things: software licenses for JD3 ZoneTools, and freelance show programming time. We do not sell laser hardware, laser components, or any laser equipment.
